Falun Dafa Practitioners Zhang Lanying, Li Gendi, and Feng Rongxia from Shanghai are Still in Detention After Many Months

In 2006, Falun Dafa practitioners Ms. Zhang Lanying, Ms. Leiyun and her daughter, Ms. Chen Yaojin, Ms. Li Gendi, Ms. Feng Rongxia from Pengpuxincun Street, Zhabei District, Shanghai City were arrested by the “610 Office¹” of Zhabei District. Zhang Lanying, Li Gendi, and Feng Rongxia are still detained. More details follow:

On the evening of June 13th, 2006, Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhang Lanying was arrested. The police even took away her daughter Cai Lei. Zhang Lanying and her daughter were detained in the Detention Centre of Zhabei District.

Early in June 2006, Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Chen Yaojin was arrested. Chen Yaojin had to take care of her mentally-challenged daughter. When the incident was exposed, the local residents were very angry. Late in June, Chen Yaojin was released. On July 5th, the 610 Office of Zhabei District and the Integrated Office of the Pengpuxincun Neighbourhood arrested Chen Yaojin and took her to the Songjian brainwashing centre “awaiting trial.” She was forced to endure brainwashing for two months. Her daughter had to be sent to an orphanage again.

On June 11th, 2006, Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Li Gendi was arrested and her house was ransacked. Later, she was sentenced to one year of labour. Now, she is detained in the Shanghai Qingpu Women Forced Labour Camp. Two years ago, Li Gengdi was sent to another forced labour camp.

Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Feng Rongxia had leukaemia before she began to practise Falun Dafa. After she started to cultivate Falun Dafa, she healed quickly. On the night of December 1st, 2006, the 610 Office took her away after ransacking her house. Now, Feng Rongxia is detained in the Lingshilu Detention Centre of Zhabei District. It was said that her current health is worrisome.
