As the phoenix flowers were blooming in late April, the annual Flame Tree Arts Festival started in Saipan. Falun Gong practitioners held a three-day truth-clarification activity at the festival from April 27th to April 29th to commemorate the eighth anniversary of the "April 25th Appeal."

Falun Gong practitioners set up three booths to display artworks of the Truth-Compassion-Tolerance Art Exhibition and the Journey of Fa-Rectification Photo Exhibition. Their booth featured materials about Falun Dafa in English, Chinese, Korean, Japanese and Thai, and included VCDs, DVDs, elegant bookmarks and copies of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party.
Falun Gong practitioners gave two stage performances. The peaceful exercise demonstration on Saturday was well received. Applause began as soon as the music played. The beauty of Falun Dafa and the aspiring spirit of Falun Dafa practitioners won people's hearts. When practitioners demonstrated the exercises on Sunday, the host of the festival joined. The dance on Sunday was scheduled at 8 pm, peak time of the festival, so that more people would have a chance to watch it.
Crowds of people visited the festival. Many people said they had heard about Falun Gong and expressed their disagreement with the CCP's persecution.
A man was wearing a T-shirt with a huge Chinese word "removal" on it. After visiting the art exhibition, he told Falun Gong practitioners that his Chinese friend's house had been removed forcefully. He had put on the T-shirt to protest what the CCP did. He said Falun Dafa made people feel peaceful and beautiful. People should have the freedom of belief. It was hard to believe what the CCP had done.
A young girl was excited to find out that Falun Gong was a cultivation practice and was taught for free. she said she had been looking for such a practice. She left happily with information about group exercise time, locations and contacts.
Many Chinese in Saipan took truth-clarification materials. Some came for copies of the Nine Commentaries. The people see the evil nature of the CCP more and more clearly.
