Ukraine: Raising Awareness about the Persecution of Falun Gong in Western Ukraine

Falun Gong practitioners from the capital of Ukraine made use of their three day vacation and went to western Ukraine to raise awareness about Falun Gong, expose the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)'s brutal persecution of Falun Gong in China, and expose the evil nature of the CCP. During the three days, practitioners visited four cities.

During the period of the former Soviet Union, western Ukraine suffered a deeply grieved genocide and many cultural treasures were destroyed; therefore people here detest the Communist Party and Communism. All the statues and mementos symbolising communism were eradicated by people here immediately after the disintegration of the former Soviet Union. When people heard that Falun Gong practitioners are suffering persecution by the CCP, they expressed intense indignation and told our practitioners that the CCP is doomed to perish sooner or later because it is only able to use violence and terror to hurt people.

Whenever practitioners held activities in each city, many children came to help to hand out leaflets and distribute Falun Gong information to people. When practitioners left, they all were reluctant to part and asked us when we will come back again, a little girl even cried and said that she didn’t know the reason but felt extremely happy to be with us.

During the activity, an unusual thing happened; a practitioner had to go to another city and we agreed to meet together at the final stop of this journey, Lviv city. On the way to Lviv city, on the train the practitioner came across another practitioner who has cultivated for many years but could seldom see other practitioners because of the transportation inconvenience, thereupon they were happily sharing the cultivation experience with each other. While talking excitedly, an elderly man beside them said suddenly, “Can I interrupt your conversation? I have a question to ask you.” The practitioner said, “Of course, please ask.” “The Falun Gong you are talking about, is the one mentioned in this leaflet?” Then the old man took out a leaflet from his pocket, which was exactly the one practitioners distributed previously. “Yes, it is” the practitioner answered. The man asked again, “in how many countries has Falun Gong been spread? Are you holding activities frequently?” “Falun Dafa has been spread over eighty countries all over the world. Yes, we often held activities at different places all over the world to let more people know Falun Gong and join in the cultivation.” The elderly man said happily “That’s it!”, and he added that, “My grandfather once told me that, in the future, there will be a strength from China to save the whole world, save human being, and they will hold activities in different countries.”
