Finland: Raising Awareness about the Month of Global Withdrawal from the Chinese Communist Party

After July 2007 was designated as the month of global withdrawal from the Chinese Communist Party, volunteers at Finland's Centre for Withdrawal from the Chinese Communist Party and some Falun Gong practitioners held two activities at the beginning of the month. From the 9th to the 14th of July, under scorching sun and rain, they continued to reveal the brutal persecution of Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist Party at Helsinki railway station, which has the largest inflow of people in the city and to express support for the withdrawal from the Chinese Communist Party and its affiliations.

"What you did is right, good!"

"I have leaflets, what you did is right, good!" This is feedback from volunteers at the Centre for Withdrawal from the Chinese Communist Party and Falun Gong practitioners hear nearly every day when they distribute pamphlets about the Nine Commentaries of the Chinese Communist Party and withdrawal from the Chinese Communist Party as well as the crime of persecuting Falun Gong.

Finnish Falun Gong practitioner Sinikka said, "There are a lot of Finnish people who signed their names and some people received leaflets and left. But they returned to sign and express support after they read the material."

Finnish people pay close attention to what happens in China

Ms. Chen at the centre for withdrawal from Chinese the Communist Party said in the past few days, a lot of people signed their names to condemn the Chinese Communist Party for persecuting Falun Gong and supported the great tide of the Chinese people's withdrawal from the Chinese Communist Party. There were neatly dressed office workers, mothers with children, old people, young people on skateboards and teenagers in groups.

Miss Wang, a volunteer, said, "A Finnish woman asked me to subscribe to the Chinese version of the Epoch Times for her and bent over on the ground to copy and learn to read the Chinese slogans on the banners: "The Roots of the Evil Chinese Communist Party Have Been Pulled Out", "Gods Will Destroy the Chinese Communist Party, Withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party to Save Oneself and Support the Twenty-Three Million Brave People who have Withdrawn from the Chinese Communist Party", "Strongly Condemn the Chinese Communist Party's Organ Harvesting from Falun Gong Practitioners and Cremating their Bodies to Destroy the Evidence." She left after signing her name on the petition.

Lu, a Falun Gong practitioner, says a Finnish person took a lot of leaflets to be distributed to her friends. One bus driver took all the material for his passenger on the bus. A Finnish gentleman took pictures of the banners with his cell phone and received leaflet about the truth and a copy of "Nine Commentaries on the Chinese Communist Party" in English. A French tourist was excited to find materials about the truth in French and an exercise site in his hometown.

A westerner who spoke English took different material in English said he went to China ten years ago. He said he did not understand why the Chinese Communist Party wanted to persecute this peaceful Falun Gong. Ms. Jiang, a volunteer, told him his question can be answered by the "Nine Commentaries." Thus, he took a copy of "Nine Commentaries" in English.

An old Finnish lady said she read "The Unknown Story of Mao Zedong" and knew something about the evil party. She said she felt very disturbed by the "Nine Commentaries" exhibition board of "The evil nature of killing of the Chinese Communist Party has never changed," which helped her see more clear the brutality of the Chinese Communist Party.

Ms. Jiang, a volunteer said, "With the progress of the great tide of withdrawals from the Chinese Communist Party and the spread of the "Nine Commentaries" there were more Chinese people who wanted to find out about the truth, see the truth, and understand the truth. In the past few days, the members of a Chinese tour took the intitative to ask for various kinds of material about the "Nine Commentaries" and withdrawal from the Chinese Communist Party".

A Chinese person after receiving the material, took photos of the banner with his cell-phone. Three Chinese students received the material and discussed with the volunteers about the questions on their minds. Two of them declared to withdraw from the youth league on the spot; a person said he will withdraw from the team by himself on the internet. One lady withdrew from the Chinese Communist Party, the Youth League and team upon understanding the one who burned himself to death in Tiananmen square was fabricated by the Chinese Communist Party in order to blacken Falun Gong as well as the great tide of withdrawals from the Chinese Communist Party.
