Germany People of Halle are Shocked by the Atrocities of the Chinese Communist Party

On the 23rd of February 2008, a rare sunny weekend in February in Germany, the Rathausplatz of Halle in the eastern city of Germany was bustling with people.

At the exhibition stand placed by Falun Gong practitioners at the Rathausplatz, the people of Halle were shocked and indignant when seeing the information about the CCP’s cruel torture and spiritual destruction of the Chinese Falun Gong practitioners. The people living in this beautiful city at the Seine River could not remain silent in the face of the CCP atrocities as they had experienced the oppression and terror brought to them by the former East German communist authoritarian rule.

Having seen the exhibition panels, a middle aged German woman, looking dignified, walked up to the Falun Gong practitioners and asked, “Are these happening now?” After hearing the affirmative reply, she said with indignation, “It is inhuman! How can the CCP act like Nazis? Such killings and cruelty must be stopped immediately.”

A mother carrying a child in her arm signed her name on the anti-persecution petition form without hesitation after she had learned that the organs of the Chinese Falun Gong practitioners were removed alive and sold for profit by the CCP just because they did not give up their belief. Half an hour later, she went home and asked her husband to come here for the signing in support of the anti-persecution.

Two students coming from mainland China came and were looking at the exhibition panels. A Falun Gong practitioner warm-heartedly gave them a copy of the materials in Chinese and said to them, “Every adult has his own ability to make a judgement. Please take a look at our materials and do not listen to the CCP’s one sided say. Only in this way can you tell the truth from the lies.” One of the students said, “We know that you are persecuted. All the Chinese in overseas countries know that Falun Gong is being persecuted. I will read the materials you have given me!”

For the whole day during the Information Day activity, people kept coming and going in front of the exhibition panels and especially during the lunch hour around the information desk was packed with hundreds of people. Practitioners' petition forms were quickly signed one after another. Some people even voluntarily asked to start learning Falun Gong after they had seen the graceful and gentle movement of Falun Gong.
