Obzor (Ukraine) Newspaper: Report on World Falun Dafa Day

The Ukrainian Daily newspaper Obzor on May 15th, 2008, reported the news of Ukraine Falun Gong practitioners celebrated the world Falun Dafa Day.

Report said: Falun Gong practitioners held activities in the square of Kiev town centre celebrating World Falun Dafa Day in the square, drummers in traditional Chinese dress, the colourful lotus flowers and exercises demonstrations were presented.

Sixteen years ago, Mr Li Hongzhi spread Falun Gong in Changchun. Falun Gong is good for both body and mind and it is also named Falun Dafa. The Chinese Communist Party launched the large scale persecution of Falun Gong; it was afraid of the popularity of Falun Gong threatening its political power and feared the loss of control of the people’s thoughts and minds.
