Officers from Baiyilaga Township Police Station, Qianguoerloushi County, Songyuan City, Jilin Province arrested many practitioners and sent some to labour camps in April 2008, under the pretext of "maintaining security before the Olympics." The arrests took place without any warrant or incriminating evidence. Zang Xuanchuan, Party secretary from the First Branch Farm of the Hongguang Farm in Baiyilaga Township led officers from the township police station. They arrested Ms. Ju Mingxia from First Branch Farm at 10:00 a.m. on April 13th, 2008. Li Guangming, a security officer from Hongguang Farm, also participated in this act of persecution.
