Germany: Raising Awareness about Falun Gong in Nordrhein-Westfalen

On July 5th, 2008, practitioners held activities in Düsseldorf and Mülheim in Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany. They raised awareness about Falun Gong, as well as the cruel persecution of Falun Gong practitioners by the Chinese Communist Party during the past nine years.

The activities gained the support of local people. They came and signed the petition to condemn the CCP's persecution one after another. They also expressed their concern over the affair of the Eutalstat Company ceasing satellite broadcasts of the New Tang Dynasty TV programmes towards mainland China. The company claimed it was due to a technical error under the threats and bribes of the CCP. They hoped that the New Tang Dynasty TV programmes would be broadcast to China as soon as possible. They also appealed to the Eutalstat Company not to give up their consciences and dignity.

A lot of local people, after they came to know the truth, they not only signed the petition supporting the anti-persecution, but also wanted to learn about Falun Gong.
