Sweden: Falun Gong Practitioners Hold Activities at the Vasa Museum

September 7th was the first week-end of Autumn in Sweden, the weather was pleasant and the air was fresh after the drizzling rain. Several Swedish Falun Gong practitioners made it to the Vasa Museum, a famous tourist attraction in Stockholm, to promote Falun Gong to the tourists from various places around the world and expose the Chinese Communist regime’s cruel persecution of Falun Gong practitioners.

After watching the demonstration of the relaxing and peaceful Falun Gong exercises, a Swedish couple were shocked by the photos of the cruel persecution on the display boards. They turned to a practitioner and asked, “Is it true?” They were dumbfounded when hearing that the persecution did exist.

This couple live in Stockholm and they happened to pass the spot when taking a stroll. Jern said that he did know something about China’s human right situation, but China has undergone tremendous changes in recent years. He added that China’s situation was getting better and that he and his wife loved China very much and would like to go to China for sightseeing in the near future.

Upon hearing what he mentioned, a Western Falun Gong practitioner knew that they were confused between China and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Torbjorn thereby elaborated to them on the fact that CCP is not China and the atrocities of the Chinese regime has perpetrated against Falun Gong, including its harvesting of organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. Upon hearing this, his wife, Malou, was so shocked and indignant that she turned to the booth and signed the petition. She also condemned the regime for the cruel persecution against peaceful Falun Gong practitioners. Right after signing the petition, she turned around and handed the pen to her husband who was talking to a practitioner in order for him to follow suit.

Falun Gong practitioners used many facts to expose the various lies fabricated by the Chinese regime to deceive people around the world. They also told the couple that under the CCP’s rule, all what China’s propaganda machine has done is to cover up the regime’s atrocities.

Jern nodded his head repeatedly while saying, “I finally understand the real situation and it seems that I was wrong before.” He thus signed the petition against the persecution of Falun Gong and accepted various material before leaving happily along with his wife.

In addition to the couple, there were many others who have come to know the facts about Falun Gong and the persecution, including some tourists from China and other places around the world.
