In mid-November 2008, the annual three-day-long health expo returned to Fribourg City, Switzerland. In recent years, the Falun Gong booth has become an indispensable part of the expo.

This year, the Falun Gong booth added a new component – Chinese Calligraphy – in addition to the exercise demonstration, the exposure of the Chinese Communist Party's persecution of Falun Gong, and the signature drive to end the persecution. A practitioner good at calligraphy wrote the Chinese characters for "Falun Dafa Is Great" and "The World Needs Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" for visitors.
Every year, the health expo attracts people of different ethnic backgrounds, classes and nationalities. Some are very interested in Falun Gong. As in as previous years, several people learned the exercises at the event.
