The Xiaohe District Police Department Detention Centre in Guiyang City, Guizhou Province, is also called the Drug Reformatory Centre. It is a newly built facility located in a deep valley surrounded by mountains. This detention centre is actually a huge labour intensive factory with a big workshop. The products are mainly items for export, such as dolls. I noticed that the paper boxes had the words "USA" on them. The factory also processes leather from dogs' skin. Each cell in the detention centre is about 20 square metres. A few dozen people had to live in each cell. Other than having to go out to do labour, they had to sleep and live in the same cell. Drug addict inmates were appointed by the guards to be in charge of each cell. These drug addicts, who were designated No. 1, No. 2, and No. 3, did not have to go out to do the slave labour. One prisoner said that her family had sent 250 yuan1 to the detention centre for her to buy daily necessities, but she never received a single cent. The money was taken by Drug Addict No. 1. Incidents of this nature happened quite often in the detention centre. If someone complained about it, she would be beaten. In this so-called drug reformatory centre, Drug Addict No. 1 in the cell could frequently get the drugs they wanted. They squatted down in the toilet and took the drugs. Drug Addict No. 1 took drugs first and whatever was left over was given to No. 2. and then to No. 3. Drug Addict No. 2 said that she liked being in the reformatory because she had more freedom there than she would have outside.

The Meitan County Detention Centre in Guizhou Province is situated on the periphery of Meitan County. It is guarded by troops, and anyone going in or out has to report to the guard holding a gun. The cells have no water but they do have a toilet. Every day, the criminal inmates were brainwashed with the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) crooked reasoning. Falun Gong practitioners were frequently incarcerated there as well. Some time ago, a practitioner with the surname Chen was incarcerated and then taken to the Yang'ai Forced Labour Farm to serve five years.

The Zunyi City No. 2 Detention Centre in Guizhou Province is a newly built large detention centre. Many practitioners are incarcerated there. On the surface this detention centre looks "serene and peaceful with birds and flowers." Inside, however, many practitioners are being inhumanely abused with many vicious methods of torture. I witnessed practitioners being stripped and body searched, put in handcuffs and shackles, and their clothes cut up. The abusers splashed cold water on them and secretly took their pictures. Practitioners were monitored around the clock, interrogated, force-fed, and forcefully injected with unknown drugs that damage the nervous system. The guards used criminal inmates to beat practitioners and verbally abuse them. Each cell is only about 20 square metres but dozens of people have to live in them. It is very crowded.

In addition, we would like the practitioners in Guiyang to take caution. Behind Guzhou University, there is a place that looks like a farm hostel with all one-story houses. CCP personnel hide in ambush there for 24 hours a day. It is said that it is the Huaxi Cadre Sanatorium of the Chengdu Military Region. It is an evil place especially set up to monitor Falun Gong practitioners.

Besides the places mentioned above that are designed to persecute and torture practitioners, there is also the Huaxi District Police Department in Guiyang City, the Pingqiao Police Station in Huaxi, Guiyang City Police Department, the No. 1 Police Division, the Yunyan District Police Department, the Zunyi City Police Department, and the National Security Division of the Fenggan County Police Department.
