Taiwan's China Times reported on January 12th that fifty school presidents and teachers in Taiwan gathered in Taichung Cultural Center on January 11th and strongly recommended Divine Performing Arts (DPA) to local residents. These teachers and administrators said that the DPA show promotes traditional Chinese culture. The show is not only full of innovation, but can purify people's minds, and is very helpful for moral education.
Chen Wen-fu, Secretary of Chunghsung University, said that DPA is mainly composed of American born Chinese people. He watched the DPA show two years ago and felt it was very good. The music, dance and costumes were all very good.
Chen Yan-ling, Director of the Taiwan Minghui Education Association, said, "I have a friend who earned 1.2 billion Taiwan dollars in his forties and decided to retire. But during the recent financial tsunami, his assets were reduced to 0.2 billion dollars. He committed suicide. I think if he had watched the DPA show, he would not have been so negative."
President Chang Li-fang from Nantou said that the DPA show mainly has traditional music. Last year she and her husband watched the show, and her husband was moved to tears by the middle of the performance. He felt that he found what he was looking for in his heart and felt a delightful satisfaction.
These people in education circles shared their feelings about the show and strongly recommended it to local residents. They think the DPA show promotes traditional Chinese culture and will be helpful in people's spiritual lives, especially during the current financial difficulties.
The hosting organisation said that DPA will arrive in Taiwan at the end of February. It will perform in Taipei, Taichung, Chiayi, Tainan and Kaohsung from February 20th to the end of March.
