Guards in Lianjiangkou Prison, Jiamusi City, Relentlessly Persecute Falun Gong Practitioners

Recently, in the name of so-called "Security Battle for a Hundred Days," guards at Lianjiangkou Prison in Jiamusi City used different tactics to persecute Falun Gong practitioners. For example, they did not allow them to go downstairs, to buy things from the store, to be visited by family members, or have their family members deposit money or items for them.

On the afternoon of December 17th, Miao Xuefeng, director of the guards in Group 1 in Division 7, and team leader Zhu Guidong ordered practitioner Duan Tilin to come to the office. They wanted him to copy a pre-written statement. Duan Tilin said, "I can't copy someone else's statement." They said, "What you wrote did not meet the requirements." Duan Tilin said, "I follow the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and I did not commit any crimes." Guard Miao slapped Duan Tilin six to seven times and said, "You are most selfish, because you did not consider your parents, your wife, or your children." Duan Tilin explained the facts about Falun Gong to them, but they refused to listen. Instead they hit his back and shoulders with a police baton six or seven times. Since it was dinner time, he said, "Let's take a break, and Duan's bank card is confiscated." He also said that Duan could not make phone calls, buy necessary items, or be visited in the future.

None of the practitioners detained at the seventh, fifth, fourth, third, and first divisions are currently allowed to go downstairs. On the first floor of the training building there were two practitioners, one of whom went on a hunger strike for several days to protest the persecution. He asked to be released unconditionally. He was transferred from Qianlou Hospital to the training team. The other two practitioners on the second floor were also persecuted.

Those involved in the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners include Division Head Zeng Ming, Deputy Director Li Henghai, and Education Officer Wei Zhuming. Division Head Zeng Ming used vicious language to insult Dafa at the division conference, and he was a behind-the-scenes director of the persecution of practitioners in the Seventh Division.
