The Truth-Compassion-Forbearance International Art Exhibition was held in National Taiwan Library from June 3rd to 14th, 2009, and many have visited. Several classes from the nearby Taipei County Fuho Junior High School came to enjoy the paintings. Kindergarten children have also visited for their field trips. Before they left, they each got a paper lotus flower and shouted 'Falun Dafa is good' together. Lieutenant General Kao Hai-hsiang, former deputy chief of staff for the Department of Defense, was greatly impressed.

A friend of Mr. Kao invited him to visit the exhibition. Afterwards he said, "The artworks here radiate a kind of affection for mankind, a very deep affection. Every painting left a strong impression. They represent the highest realm of forbearance."
Mr. Kao is 83 now, and has seen many great paintings in his travels to Europe and North America. "This is the first time that I have been so touched. I have never seen such work before. The painting are more real to me than even a picture. The true affection vividly comes out of the paintings. Every painting strikes me very strongly."
Kao believes that the teachings of Falun Gong, "Truth-Compassion-Forbearance", is meaningful and precious. He said that 'Forbearance' is the most difficult to achieve and hopes that he can follow the teachings himself in the future.
