The march in Osaka was held at noon. The Divine Land Marching Band, consisting of Falun Gong practitioners, attracted many tourists. Several local citizens expressed that the persecution is not tolerable and Chinese people need freedom of belief. One Japanese gentleman said: "It is really not easy to live in such a country where people have no freedom. You should keep it up and let more people know about Falun Gong."
After the march in Osaka, practitioners held another one in Kobe. The band also performed for an hour in front of a train station after the march. A local practitioner said before starting out, they clarified the truth of Falun Gong to local policemen, and this is why they obtained the permission for the march and public performance. One practitioner said he passed out many truth-clarifying materials during the day. One Japanese gentleman said: "I have been to China many times, but I have never seen such an excellent performance. I know about Falun Gong. It is good. But it is really hard to live under the communist party's rule." Some local citizens asked for detailed contact information of practitioners and expressed interests in learning the exercises.
After the activities, practitioners shared their experiences and understanding of clarifying the truth. Mr. Liu, who just came to Japan from China, said: "I am very excited. There is no such environment in China. I see the support for Falun Gong in Japan. In China, policemen torture practitioners, but in Japan, policemen keep order for our march." "The truth is the truth, and people will learn it eventually. The persecution of Falun Gong cannot last much longer," he said.
