We Must Have Righteous Thoughts At All Times

Last night a fellow practitioner and I went out to distribute informational materials about Falun Dafa. While walking we started to talk about ordinary matters such as the family. The more we talked the more we wanted to talk. However, wherever we tried to put the materials, there was always someone behind us. I said to my fellow practitioner, "Why are there so many people here tonight?" Although we walked around for a long time, we still didn't distribute many materials.

When we were getting anxious, we met up with practitioner B. She asked us with a smile, "You are here for business, aren't you?" We both nodded our heads. We felt that we had run into her by chance so we just wanted to quickly leave after saying hello to her. To my surprise, practitioner B asked us to come to the side of the road and said to us in a low voice, "Make sure that you send forth righteous thoughts to clear the environment before you come out to distribute materials." I nodded my head but said in my heart: "Who doesn't know this? Why do you feel you need to mention this to us?" She also said, "Don't chat about ordinary matters and keep in mind we came here to save people, so no one can disturb us!" The other practitioner and I immediately knew that it was Teacher using this practitioner's words to remind us, seeing us walking and talking. No wonder we ran into her here. Practitioner B continued, "While walking on the street, don't slink along, we should behave in an open and dignified manner because we are doing the most righteous thing in the universe!"

After practitioner B left, we no longer talked, instead, we quietly sent forth righteous thoughts. Wherever we wanted to put the materials, there was no one around. After we finished distributing all the materials and walked back, we saw some people coming. I thought, "This must be Teacher helping us while seeing our righteous thoughts emerging. Thank you Teacher!"

When I previously read fellow practitioners' articles regarding the miraculous power of righteous thoughts on Clearwisdom.net, I always admired them. This time I experienced for myself the miraculous power of righteous thoughts. Therefore, I reminded myself that in the future while reading practitioners' experience-sharing articles, I should not only say that the practitioners cultivate well but also should truly understand why fellow practitioners cultivate well and should take the same actions after learning from them. I must study the Fa well and do the three things (study the Fa [the teachings of Falun Dafa], send forth righteous thoughts and clarify the truth about Falun Dafa and about the persecution to the world's people) more diligently-- only then will Teacher be reassured.
