As the number of people who have registered on the Epoch Times website their resignations from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organisations surpassed 63 million, the Malaysia Service Centre for Quitting the CCP held a rally to support these courageous people on November 7th, 2009, at Pandan Perdana Park in Kuala Lumpur for the first time. People from all walks of life learned about the rapidly growing movement to quit the CCP taking place in China. The rally also helped the local police learn about the movement prior to the visit of Hu Jintao, the head of the CCP, to Malaysia beginning November 10th.

The rally began with the Divine Land Marching Band's performance at 6:15 p.m. Mr. Peng and Mr. Wu, Chinese and English spokespersons, respectively, for the Service Center for Quitting the CCP, read a statement in support of the 63 million Chinese people who have been courageous enough to quit the CCP and its affiliated organisations.
Mr. Peng stated that the CCP has been cruelly persecuting religious groups, dissidents, human rights defenders and those appealing for justice. He said the authorities from all levels have generally abused their power and wantonly bullied the ordinary Chinese. As a result, those without power have found it increasingly difficult to survive. "More and more people have learned about the persecution, seen clearly the wickedness of the CCP, and been brave enough to say 'No' to the CCP."
Shocked by the CCP's atrocity of harvesting organs from living people, the local police take informational materials
During the rally, many citizens passing by stopped to read the banners, and service center volunteers handed out informational materials and explained to them why 63 million Chinese people have quit the CCP at this point in history.
Because the head of the CCP will visit Malaysia on November 10th, 2009, a number of police officers also came to the rally.
When volunteer Ms. Xie was talking to a gentleman about the quitting-the-CCP movement, a plainclothes officer was also curious and walked close to listen to her explanation.
When Ms. Xie asked the officer if he had read the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, he answered, "Yes." Ms. Xie continued by saying, "Why are there so many Chinese people who have read the Nine Commentaries and quit the CCP and its affiliated organisations? It is because the CCP has done so many bad things during its 60-year rule. The CCP's most brutal act in the past several years is that it has gone so far as to harvest organs from living Falun Gong practitioners for profit."
The plainclothes officer was shocked at hearing this, and immediately asked his colleagues to come to get information.
