On October 28th, 2009, Shenyang City practitioners Zhang Zhengang, Jin Xianzhong, and Hong Ruisheng were arrested by police from the Shahe Town police station while they were distributing leaflets exposing the persecution and telling people the facts about Falun Gong in Xinli Village, Shahe County, Sujiatun District. Now they are still being held in the Sujiatun Detention Centre. As we already know, the so-called "evidence" has already been turned in to the Institute of Legal Systems in Shenyang, and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is trying to force them to "reform through labour" [forcibly renounce Falun Gong] at a labour camp.
On the day they were arrested, police personnel searched their bodies and found more than ten Falun Gong DVDs. Then they were sent to the Section of Politics and Law of the Sujiatun District. Later that night, they were transferred to the Sujiatun Detention Centre.
From eight to ten o'clock that night, police from the Sujiatun District, together with police from the Dananmen police station and Yunji police station, ransacked Jin Xianzhong's and Hong Ruisheng's houses and took away a laptop from Hong Ruisheng's house. The next day, police from Shahe Town and the police department in Sujiatun ransacked Zhang Zhengang's house.
In addition to these cases, at 9:00 a.m. on December 1st, 2009, the Sujiatun District Court heard the case of Dafa Practitioner Yu Jingzhen, who is sixty-five years old. Yu Jingzhen is from Chenxiangtun Town, Sujiatun District. She was arrested by police while she was distributing informational materials in Tonggou on July 28th. At seven that night, police from the Tonggou police station and the police department in Sujiatun ransacked her house and confiscated some of these materials. Yu Jingzhen was arrested by the local police and sent to a forced labour camp in 2000. When she was sent home from the Masanjia Labour Camp, all of her hair had turned white, and only one tooth was left in her mouth.
