Mr. Wang Qingguo and Mr. Zhang Wuxiu from Xin'an County, Luoyang City, were arrested on November 24th, 2009. They are now in the Luoyang City Detention Centre (also called the Prison Administrative Division's Detention Centre of Luoyang Police Department).
At approximately 11:00 p.m. on November 24th, 2009, Mr. Wang from Shanbi Village, Caocun Township, and Mr. Zhang from Shisi Village, Shisi Township in Xin'an County, spoke with villagers in Gaozhuang Village, Shisi Township. A villager reported them to the police. Officers from the Shisi Township Police Station and from the Xin'an County 610 Office (an organisation of special agents just for persecuting Falun Gong) and Domestic Security Division arrested them. They confiscated a scooter, which is for the elderly, and the information materials about Falun Gong the two men carried with them. They also ransacked their homes and took Falun Gong books, information materials about Falun Gong, and other items, causing great suffering and hardship for their families.
After practising Falun Gong, Mr. Wang became considerate of others and is always ready to help others. His neighbours and other villagers saw the magnificence of Falun Gong through him.
After Mr. Wang was taken into police custody, his wife and their three children, who are in high school, middle school and elementary school, were left alone at home. The three children are excellent students. The family barely made ends meet before, and the situation has now become worse.
