On December 26th-27th, 2009, Kaohsiung County held its annual culture festival at the plaza in front of the Reservoir Administration Building. By invitation, Falun Gong's waist drum team and celestial maidens dance team participated in the parade along the bustling streets, and performed on stage.

The Falun Dafa practitioners also established a new group practice site near the new Yanchao Township Hall to help promote Falun Dafa.
