On May 29th, Falun Gong practitioners in Canada participated in the annual Hyack International Parade in New Westminster. This premier event is British Columbia's largest family-oriented parade with over 130 entries from British Columbia and the United States.

Falun Gong's entry was the biggest one in the parade. It consisted of the Divine Land Marching Band, a waist drum team and a float. Their performances were warmly welcomed by the spectators. Practitioners also passed out many flyers, introducing Falun Gong to the public. A local Chinese gentleman said: "The Falun Gong group is great. You perfectly manifested the spirit of Falun Gong."
