Ms. Wang Guoying of Shiquan County, Shaanxi Province, was arrested and jailed several times after the persecution started on July 20th, 1999, because she refused to give up practising Falun Gong and because she continued to adhere to Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. On April 27th, 2010, while watching her grandson, she was arrested by agents of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) who broke into her house. She was sentenced to five years in prison and taken to Shaanxi Women's Prison. Her life is in peril.
Before becoming a Falun Gong practitioner, Ms. Wang had many illnesses. She had bronchitis and a chronic throat infection. She had contracted vitiligo that started on her face and spread to her neck, arm, and the back of her hand. Her salary each month was all allocated for her medical expenses. Her temper became worse and worse. After she began cultivating in Falun Gong, the bronchitis and throat infection that had bothered her for about 20 years went away, and her skin disease was healed, too. Everyone that knew her thought it was a miracle. In recent years she has not spent a single dime on medicine. She became an entirely different person. Not only was she without any illness, she realized that the true meaning of human life is to return to one's own true self. She was extremely happy.
On April 27th, 2010, while Ms. Wang was taking care of her newborn grandson, a group of people pounded on her door. Ms. Wang did not respond because she knew what they wanted--it was becoming a common occurrence.
They would not give up. They went back and got reinforcements from different organizations, including justice, prosecution, and executive branches, plus the Transportation Administration Bureau where Ms. Wang used to work, and came back and broke into her house. They crashed the security gate, broke the wooden board inside, and broke into her house and dragged her away. They tried to force her to sign the paper they provided, but she did not comply. Ms. Wang urged them to be kind and told them what goes around and comes around, but they ignored her. One of them, Dang, the secretary of the Shiquan Court, said, "I am not afraid of punishment from heaven."
On May 18th, Ms. Wang was taken to Shiquan Jail. She was sentenced to five years in prison and no one informed her family members. She was taken to Shaanxi Women's Prison on June 1st.
Information indicated that Ms. Wang was badly persecuted and her life was in jeopardy. Her family requested to have her released for medical treatment, but the prison authorities denied their request.
Ms. Wang was arrested, jailed, brainwashed, and put in forced labour camps many times after July 20th, 1999, when the CCP began to persecute Falun Gong.
On November 6th, 2002, Ke Youhui from the County Transportation Bureau, Wang Limin from Transportation Administration Station, and officers from the National Security Squadron, 18 people in all, went to Ms. Wang's home. Officer Chen Changyong and Hu Chaogen broke the steel gate with pry bars and rocks. They arrested her, ransacked her house, and seized a copy of the Falun Gong book, Zhuan Falun, and a meditation mat. The police chief, Ho Guolin, and Officer Dai Shuiying, interrogated her in the detention centre and then put her in Hanyin County Jail for five months and 18 days.
On July 15th, 2004, Ding Yijin from the county 610 Office [an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong], Chen Changyong, Dai Shuiying, an officer named Xiao from the county police department, and Chen Jin from the Transportation Administration Station picked Ms. Wang up and took her to Lintong Brainwashing Centre in Xian City, and persecuted her there for three months and eight days.
On September 20th, 2005, National Security Squadron officers Niu Shaobing, Shi Jingan, and Liu Jincai picked up a new practitioner and used her to trick Ms. Wang into opening the door. They then ransacked Ms. Wang's home, arrested her, and took her to Xian Women's Forced Labour Camp and imprisoned her there for a year and a half.
On April 14th, 2009, Ms. Wang was arrested for the fourth time by the local police and held in the Hanbing District Jail in Ankang City. They ordered the inmates to search her and humiliate her and kept her under surveillance around the clock. The guards yelled at her all day long. On her fifth day in jail, her blood pressure went up, and she shook uncontrollably.
