Bulgaria: Gathering Signatures to Stop the Persecution of Falun Gong

Falun Gong practitioners from Bulgaria and Russia organized an activity in Varna, Bulgaria. They gathered signatures for the petition for human rights of the Falun Gong practitioners persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). The event was held on June 20, 2010, Sunday, near the entrance of the Sea Garden.

The practitioners placed banners about Falun Gong, the persecution in China and about the proven deaths of practitioners died as a result of torture in labour camps, hospitals and prisons in China. Many signed the petition and got information materials. Others promised to read detailed information at our web site about the practice and the persecution.

Earlier in the morning the practitioners gathered in the Sea Garden to do the Falun Dafa exercises together. They provoked the interest of the passers-by. Many wanted to learn more about Falun Gong. A girl that had taken information materials later called to the coordinator for Varna and asked when she could go and do the exercises with practitioners.
