Police officers ransacked practitioner Ms. Lin Xue'e's house in Xianyou County, Putian City, Fujian Province in August 2009. On the evening of September 18th, she was arrested and sent to a forced labour camp. Her family requested to visit her but were denied. It has been one year since Ms. Lin was arrested, and her family has still not heard from her.
On the afternoon of August 11th, 2009, Yang Weisi, head of the Domestic Security Division in Xianyou County and deputy head Xie Shengde, led several police officers to break into Ms. Lin Xue's and Ms. Zheng Senhua's house. They searched every level of the house, including the storage room and the poultry shed. When the police officers saw a locked door, they smashed it open.
Ms. Lin Xue'e was arrested on September 18th, 2009. On September 25th, the police returned and ransacked her house again. On October 11th, the police went to the school Ms. Lin's daughter attended to harass her, and attempted to cajole the child into making false testimony.
Ms. Lin was sent to the Women's Forced Labour Camp in Fujian Province in late October, 2009.
Since Ms. Lin was arrested last year, her family has not received any new information about her. At the present time, they can't even be sure whether she is indeed being detained at the Fujian Women's Forced Labour Camp. Her daughter went there twice to visit her but was turned away. They were not even allowed to send winter clothes to her.
Yang Weisi, head of the Domestic Security Division in Xianyou County and deputy head Xie Shengde are the primary persons responsible for persecuting so many practitioners.
