The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) Gives Large Cash Rewards to Local Officers to Arrest Practitioners in Jianyang City, Sichuan Province

Between July and September 2010, 14 Falun Gong practitioners from Jianyang City, Sichuan Province were sent to Erehu Brainwashing Class of Ziyang City where they were mistreated and pressured to renounce their belief in Falun Gong.

At the beginning of September 2010, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) members of Jianyang City gave the order to their assistant organisations to begin an intensive persecution on all Falun Gong practitioners in the region.

To date, five Falun Gong practitioners from Jiancheng Town and one from Shiqiao Town have been arrested. The cash reward for sending each Falun Gong practitioner to Erehu Brainwashing Class is 48,000 yuan¹ from the Chinese Communist Party in Beijing. In order to obtain the cash rewards, the CCP members of Jianyang City began a ruthless campaign of arresting all Falun Gong practitioners.

Mr. Chen Zhuxian was arrested from his home at 11 am on September 12th. He is 68 years old and his home address is: 1-302, Building 1, Longjing District, Jiancheng Town. He was quickly sent to the Erehu Brainwashing Class in Ziyang City without any legal procedures. CCP organisations involved: Jianyang City 610 Office (an organisation of special agents just for persecuting Falun Gong), Domestic Security Agent of the city, Anxian Neighbourhood Association, and Chengzhong Police Station.

On the morning of September 25th, Ms. Hu Yuanzhen from Jieyue Village, Jiancheng Town, Jianyang City was arrested while babysitting her grandchild in her daughter's home. She is 75 years old. CCP organisations involved: Jianyang City 610 Office, Domestic Security Agent of the city, party secretary of Jieyue Village Committee, and Chengzhong Police Station.

Mr. Wang Huazhang was arrested from his daughter's home at 11 a.m. on October 8th. He is 74 years old and lives on Hongjiang Road, Jiancheng Town, Jiangyang City. He was sent directly to the Erehu Brainwashing Class without any legal procedures. A witness said that more than 20 people in several cars came to his daughter's home previously on October 7 to arrest Wang Huazhang, but missed him. CCP organisations involved: Jianyang City 610 Office, Domestic Security Agent of the city, Neighbourhood Association, and Chengzhong Police Station.

Ms. Xu Huiying was also arrested from home at 11 a.m. on October 8th. She is 55 years old, and lives in Shiqiao Town, Jiangyang City. She was also sent directly to the Erehu Brainwashing Class. CCP members involved: Director of Neighbourhood Association, Yang Wanze, Deputy Director, Fu, and a policeman from Shiqiao Town Police Station.
