I was jailed in the Baibuting Detention Centre in May 2005. I started a hunger strike to protest the persecution, and five guards force-fed me. They also injected me with unknown drugs, which caused serious pain all over my body. Later, officer Qin Jin from the Huaqiao Police Station took me to the Dongxihu Detention Centre. The centre's doctor injected a high-concentration salt water solution into me, making my stomach feel like it was on fire; they didn't allow me to drink water.
One day during exercise time, I started to practise the Falun Gong standing exercises. A guard saw me, handcuffed my hands behind my back, and hung me up. She ordered me to write the guarantee statement to renounce practising Falun Gong, but I firmly refused. I sweat profusely, then passed out from the pain. Guards released me and cuffed me to a chair. Mosquitoes bit me all over my face and hands. Xiao Lin, deputy director of the centre, again ordered me to write the guarantee statement. When I refused, I was not allowed to use the restroom. I was shackled for 46 hours, and then transferred to the Hewan Forced Labour Camp. However, Hewan Forced Labour Camp officials refused to accept me due to my high blood pressure. Therefore, I was taken to the Huaqiao Police Station. I was released at around 4 p.m. and picked up by my daughter.
As soon as I arrived home, the 610 Office (an organisation of special agents just for persecuting Falun Gong) director, along with the secretary of the neighbourhood association, came to harass me and prevented me from leaving my home.
