On September 14th, 2010, when Ms. Lu Dongmei was working at the Ji'an area property sales office of the Luxing Company in Jining City, she was again arrested by staff from the Jining City central area 610 Office (an organisation of special agents just for persecuting Falun Gong) and Luxing Company. They pushed her into the vehicle, without identifying themselves or presenting an arrest warrant and did not notify her family.
Ms. Lu was once taken to a mental hospital by police from the Central Area Public Security Bureau, for practising Falun Gong. She was injected with unknown drugs and taken to a brainwashing centre to force her to renounce her belief in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. She was also fired from her job by the Luxing Company.
She wrote a statement that she would continue to practise Falun Gong in September 1999. As a result, she was isolated and monitored by people from her workplace. Staff from the Domestic Security Division of Jining City Central Area Public Security Bureau threatened to take her to a forced labour camp or mental hospital if she continued to practice Falun Gong. She refused to compromise. Around September 11th, she was taken to the Jining City Mental Hospital, located inside of the German church in Daizhuang. A week later, the hospital gave her pills, starting with half a tablet and then one tablet. Doctor Han, the head of the section, ordered five to six people to hold her down and then injected her with an unknown drug. He repeated this two weeks later.
After being given these drugs, she walked in circles and slept fitfully in a foetal position and fitfully. She entered a vegetative state, became unfocused and empty of thought, and could no longer take care of herself. After over two months, she was released into her family's care.
In October 2001, police officers Guo Hongtao of Jining City Central Area Public Security Bureau and others broke into her home by kicking down the door. They arrested her and took her to the Jinan Women's Forced Labour Camp. Ms. Lu went on a hunger strike to protest the persecution. After a month she was close to death and was released.
On September 14th, Lu Dongmei was again arrested by staff from the Jining City Central Area 610 Office, and taken to a “Legal System Study Centre,” located in the Shandong Province No. 2 Forced Labour Camp in Zhangqiu. She was deprived of sleep and forced to listen to the Chinese Communist Party's slandering of Falun Gong day and night. She was under a lot of pressure to renounce Falun Gong and no longer believe in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.
After over a month of brainwashing she was released and returned home. She was not allowed to return to work.
