Mr. Wang Qingzhong, 54, a famous entrepreneur from Linyi City, Shandong Province, was a professor in the Department of Physics in Linyi Normal University, and is now the chairman of Xintianli Mechanical Ltd. in Linyi. Mr. Wang regained good physical health and spiritual well-being through Falun Gong practice. However, he was persecuted several times because of his belief. Mr. Wang was arrested for the third time on September 26th, 2010. The arrest was ratified recently and Mr. Wang's case will go though legal procedures.

Benefiting Physically and Spiritually

Mr. Wang Qingzhong started practising Falun Gong in 1998. He followed the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and became a truly good person. His bad temper was gone and he became kinder. Clients and employees all said that he is approachable and genial. His business received public praise among the clients and his brand is well-known.

Detained Three Times

Mr. Wang was detained three times. In 2003, Mr. Wang was taken to a brainwashing centre organised by the Linyi 610 Office (an organisation of special agents just for persecuting Falun Gong). On the morning of December 13th, 2006, Mr. Wang was deceived by someone who claimed to be university staff He was taken to the brainwashing centre again. He was detained for one month.

Around 7:00 a.m. on September 26th, 2010, officers from the Linyi 610 Office and the Yucailu Police Station took him away from his home and sent him to the Linyi Detention Centre. At the same time, officers from the Linyi 610 Office and the Yitang Police Station locked down the Xintianli Company without a search warrant. They locked all the employees and customers in a room and restricted their personal freedom. People were allowed to go into the building, but were not allowed to go out. The business was greatly impacted. The police rummaged through all the offices in the two-story building. They did not find anything and left afterward.
