Practitioners Ms. Huang Xilan, Ms. Rao Xue, Mr. Liang Yun and his wife (name unknown), Su, and Wang were arrested and taken to the Domestic Security Division of Qujing Police Department on June 22nd, 2010. In October 2010, practitioners Su and Zhao Li were arrested and taken to a forced labour camp.
Ms. Huang Xilan, 54, is an employee with the Qujing Textile Factory. Officers from the Qujing Domestic Security Division ransacked her home on January 30th, 2000 and she was then sentenced to 2 years of forced labour, to be carried out at her home instead of at a labour camp. In the detention centre she was detained for one extra month. On July 24th, 2005, Lei Min and Gong Yuanjiang, policemen from the Qilin District Domestic Security Division in Qujing City, ransacked her home again. Later on, they put her in the Yunnan Women's Forced Labour Camp for 2 years and 9 months.
During her detention in the forced labour camp, the textile factory modified the time of when she started to work for the factory from 1982 to 1987. As a result of the 5-year difference, her opportunity to purchase affordable housing provided by the factory was taken away. Between 2000 and 2002, the factory reduced her salary without giving a reason and paid her only a 300 yuan1 stipend every month. Her husband was transferred to another unit because of her belief in Falun Gong. A Chinese Communist Party member with the textile factory frequently harassed her parents and banned Huang Xilan from going out on sensitive dates. Party secretary Yu Jiaping and office leader Peng Xiangmin often looked for Ms. Huang for “discussions,” and forbade her from practising the Falun Gong exercises and meeting with others. They also ordered someone to monitor her.
On March 22nd, 2010, a policeman from the Qilin Domestic Security Division arrested her, searched her home, and sent her to the Wangjiashan Detention Station in Qujing. She has been detained there for 10 months.
Lei Min and Gong Yuanjiang, both from the Qilin District Domestic Security Division, and Liu Shaocang, the security leader of the textile factory, are also involved with the persecution.
Ms. Rao Xue, 57, is a teacher from Qujing Finance and Economics College. On July 24th, 2005, she was arrested by the Qilin Domestic Security Division. Her home was searched and some property was confiscated. She was then sent to the Yunnan Women's Forced Labour Camp. On March 22nd, 2010, she was arrested again and her home was ransacked. She has been detained in the Wangjiashan Detention Centre for 10 months.
On March 22nd, 2010, Mr. Liang Yun and his wife, both of whom are in their 40s, were taken away by the Qilin Domestic Security Division. Their current whereabouts are unknown. His mother, who lives at their home, is mentally handicapped and has no one to take care of her .
Ms. Zhao Li, in her 40s, works for the Qujing Coal Construction Company. She has been imprisoned in the Yunnan Province Women's Forced Labour Camp since being arrested by the Domestic Security Division of the Qilin Police Department in Qujing City in October 2010.
Ms. Su, in her 40s, was arrested on March 22nd, 2010. The police broke into her home and did a thorough search. In October she was sent to a forced labour camp. Due to her high blood pressure, the forced labour camp refused to take her.
Ms. Wang is a 78-year-old retired employee of Qujing Second Hospital. Her home was searched by the security division of Qilin Police Department on March 22nd, 2010.
