Yang Guizhi, Formerly a School Principal, Has Been Persecuted Several Times for Her Belief in Falun Gong

Ms. Yang Guizhi is about 53 years old. She looks younger than her age because she has been practising Falun Gong. She is very honest and kind. She used to be the principal of a middle school in the Yuanbaoshang District in the City of Chifeng. She was a great teacher and a great role model. She was repeatedly persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) because she refused to give up her belief in Truth-Compassion-Forbearance.

About six or seven years ago, Ms. Yang was arrested and imprisoned in the detention centre in the Yuanbaoshan District. Later she was demoted and transferred to another school. She was a very capable teacher, but the CCP would no longer let her teach. She became a security guard at Nationality Middle School at the Yuanbaoshan District.

Ms. Ren Suying is Ms. Yang's fellow practitioner. Ms. Ren is from Jianchangying Village in the Yuanbaoshan District. Around 2 a.m. on April 18th 2011, she was arrested on Wudan Street in Wengniuteqi in Chifeng and imprisoned at the Wudan Detention Centre. She started a hunger strike to protest the persecution. She was inhumanely force-fed, and her condition is now critical.

Even though they faced potential persecution, Ms. Yang Guizhi and her sister, Ms. Yang Xiuhua, along with Mr. Yu Shulin and his wife, made the long trip to the detention centre and the National Squad of the Public Security Bureau and other departments in Wengniuteqi to try to secure Ms. Ren Suying's release. They explained to the officials that good will be rewarded and evil punished. They told them to stop doing such evil things.

Liu Caijun, the head of the National Squad of the Public Security Bureau in Wengniuteqi, has been actively involved in persecuting Falun Gong practitioners over the past several years. After he persecuted Ms. Ren Suying, his previous crimes were quickly exposed to the international community.

Yet with calls for justice, instead of repenting, Liu Caijun tried to retaliate.

On May 12th 2011, Ms. Yang Guizhi, Ms. Yang Xiuhua, and Mr. Yu Shulin and his wife talked to Liu, explaining to him the facts about Falun Gong and pointing out the CCP's crimes. Liu Caijun's response was to arrest the four practitioners. Police then drove from Wengniuteqi to their homes in the Yuanbaoshan District. They searched their homes and confiscated many of their personal belongings. Ms. Yang Guizhi's daughter isn't a Falun Gong practitioner, but they arrested her as well. They threatened her and interrogated her for several hours before letting her go.

Ms. Yang Guizhi, Ms. Yang Xiuhua, Mr. Yu Shulin and his wife, Ms. Ren Suying, Du Delan, and Yu Meiying are now imprisoned in the Wudan Detention Centre in Wengniuteqi.

When this report was about to be submitted, some kind people told us that it had been a month since Ms. Ren Suying started a hunger strike. She was being brutally force-fed in a hospital in Wengniuteqi. Her life is in danger. On May 15th, the Wengniuteqi Police Station transferred Ms. Yang Guizhi, Ms. Yang Xiuhua, and Mr. Yu Shulin and his wife to the Yuanbaoshan District Detention Centre.
