Mr. Wang Jinling from Hengshui City, Hebei Province went missing on the morning of August 26th. His wife looked for him everywhere and finally learned that he was arrested by Henghu City Domestic Security Division police. Mr. Wang's family has no idea where he is being detained.

On the morning of August 26th, Mr. Wang helped his wife, Ms. Xin Mingru, take care of his seriously ill father-in-law before going to work on a bicycle. He hasn't returned home since. Later, his wife learned that Hengshui City 610 Office (an organisation of special agents just for persecuting Falun Gong) instructed the city's domestic security division to arrest Mr. Wang on his way to work.

One month has passed, there is still no information about Mr. Wang.

Since the persecution of Falun Gong started in July 1999, the couple have been subjected to persecution by local authorities. They had to live away from home to avoid the persecution in 2001. Hengshui City 610 Office agents searched for, followed and monitored the couple the entire time.

The couple returned home in 2007 and ran a small business to support themselves.

Housing Management Bureau officials called Mr. Wang on August 6 and asked him to return to his job. The next day, when Mr. Wang went to work, Hezhuang Township Police Station officers took him away and sent him to the Hengshui City Administrative Detention Centre to be held for two weeks. Afterward, although the couple tried to resume their normal life, Hengshi City 610 Office agents have continued to target them for persecution.
