60-Year-old Ms. Yang Cuiling from Chifeng Arrested At Least Seven Times for Practising Falun Gong

On June 13th, 2011, Liu Zhenting, the Chief of the Kelaqinqi Domestic Security Division and Wang Huilong, as well as Wang Heran and Feng Xiaohu from the Yuanbaoshan District Police Department arrested Ms. Yang Cuiling. Ms. Yang had been detained in the Jishan Detention Centre in Kelaqinqi. Recent reports state that she has been sentenced to prison.

Because Ms. Yang Cuiling firmly believes in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, the Chifeng police arrested her once every two years. Ms. Yang has been arrested and detained at least seven times. She had been detained in a forced labour camp for two years. The reason for her repeated arrest is that Ms. Wang kept talking about Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and did not give up her belief.

In the middle of September 2010, Ms. Yang Cuiling took a bus to Jinshan, Kelaqinqi. Liu Zhenting and Wang Huilong took her away from the bus. When they met her, the first sentence they said was, “You come again”. The two policemen took Ms. Yang away two years ago and she was detained in the Jinshan Detention Centre for more than one month. Ms. Yang went on a hunger strike after being arrested in September 2010. She fell into deep coma on the seventh day. Liu Zhenting was afraid of taking responsibility. After extorting 3000 yuan¹ from Ms. Yang’s family, he released Ms. Wang.

Soon after, Liu Zhenting and Wang Huilong went to Yuanbaoshan District and intended to take Ms. Yang Cuiling away. Ms. Yang was forced to become homeless in the winter of 2010.

Chief Liu Weimin led others from the Domestic Security Division of Yuanbaoshan Police Department to arrest Ms. Yang Cuiling several times. Once, in order to force her to tell him the Falun Gong material production site, Liu Weimin brutally beat her. Ms. Yang went on a hunger strike in the Yuanbaoshan Detention Centre. On the tenth day, Ms. Yang was picked up by her family. One morning, after two months, Ms. Yang was deceived and taken to the Yuanbaoshan Police Department and held until noon. Liu Weimin and other policemen drove a vehicle and brought her to a building in Chifeng. Liu Weimin came out in less than ten minutes after he entered the building, passing to her a notification that she is to be sentenced to two years in a forced labour camp. Afterward, Ms. Yang was directly sent to the Huhehaote Women’s Forced Labour Camp in Inner Mongolia which is located about 1000 miles away from Kelaqinqi.

It had been very cold at that time. Ms. Yang brought nothing. She said to Liu Weimin, “I do not carry any cent. And I do not have changing clothes. My family do not know where I go. Why did you not inform my family in advance?” Liu Weimin did not care and said, “Let your family send things afterward”.

I Wish all people with a sense of justice to pay attention to Ms. Yang Cuiling’s case, and to stop the persecution together.
