Taiwan: Falun Dafa Exercises Draw Attention at Tomato Culture Day in Kaohsiung

The 2011 Tomato Culture Day in Lujhu was held on December 10th-11th, 2011 at the Lujhu District Sports Complex. To promote health concepts, the host arranged for Falun Dafa practitioners to demonstrate the five exercises on December 10th.

After the practitioners demonstrated the five exercises, the Tianwei Tang Dynasty Drum Team, made up of Falun Gong practitioners, performed the War Drum Suite. The melody and the majestic drum beat pleased the audience. Warm applause from the audience raised the curtain for the 2011 Tomato Culture Day.

Deputy Mayor Liu Shih-fang, chief of the Kaohsiung City Civil Affairs Bureau Tseng Tzu-Wen, and Magistrate of Lujhu District Wang He-Hsiung together launched the opening ceremony. The host invited Falun Gong practitioners to demonstrate the exercises for both days of the event. The Tang Dynasty Drum Team and the Waist Drum Team were very well received.

The host provided a free booth for Falun Dafa. The practitioners prepared free Falun Dafa materials for the visitors as well as hand-made paper lotus flowers and balloons. Streams of people visited the booth and learned the beauty and health benefits of the practice.
