“Doctors Against Forced Organ Harvesting” Urges the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) to Provide Accurate and Verifiable Organ Transplant Statistics

Doctors Against Forced Organ Harvesting (DAFOH) , an organization founded by medical doctors from all over the world, published a petition to Dr. Chen Zhu, Chinese Minister of Heath on its official website, requesting China (Chinese Communist Party) to provide accurate and transparent statistics and documentation of the source of organs in China to the World Health Organization (WHO), the World Medical Association (WMA) and The Transplantation Society (TTS). The organization stressed that discrepancies in the transplantation figures have raised concerns that in China organs are systematically harvested from unwilling living people.

The petition calls upon people from all walks of life, especially doctors, medical professionals and transplant specialists to sign the petition. The petition states that, “the undersigned are concerned that living people, in particular practitioners of Falun Gong, are abused as a living pool of donors whose organs are forcibly harvested on demand. This is in serious violation of ethical standards in medicine.”
