On March 27th, 2012, Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Chen Jiaxiu from Suining was taken to a local brainwashing centre to undergo further persecution by the 610 Office (an organisation of special agents just for persecuting Falun Gong), immediately after her release from a three-year detention.

In early March 2012, a member of Ms. Chen's family said that Ms. Chen had called earlier to arrange to be picked up on March 27th, as directed by a prison guard. However, on March 27th, Ms. Chen called her family and informed them that she had been detained in the Beimen Forced Labour Camp's Brainwashing Centre in Suining.

Tang Ying, the 610 Office head, is responsible for persecuting Falun Gong practitioners in the Hedong Xinqu area.
