UK: A Report from the Appealing Site opposite the Chinese Embassy in London

After reading this poster and other materials of truth-clarification, many people passing by have signed our petition form to support our peaceful appeals, stood or sat silently. There have been many touching stories.

One day, it was very sunny and was the hottest day so far this summer. The pavement opposite the Chinese Embassy was very hot under the sun. Even when one sat on a mat, he/she can still feel the heat under the mat. It was about 2-3pm, the hottest time in the afternoon, when two teenage boys saw the poster as they passed by. After reading the poster, they sit silently on the ground next to Dafa Disciples for about 40 minutes.

Last Sunday, the weather changed continuously between “sunny and heavy rain”. A well-dressed middle-aged man stopped in front of the poster. When practitioners did the Fa Zheng Nian meditation in heavy rain, he sat down. Although he had an umbrella in his hand, his clothes were soaked quickly. Since the heavy rain came suddenly, water could not flow away through the drain quick enough and almost reached the level of pavement. He carried on and still did not stand up. After a while, because the rain was too heavy his trousers became completely soaked, he stood up. He then stood together with the practitioners in silence. He spent about an hour with practitioners there. Before he shook hands with practitioners to say good-bye, he told them that he is a member of Quakers and very sympathetic to the persecution of Falun Gong.

On the same day, a middle-aged woman and a young man also joined the practitioners’ peaceful appeal. Instead of sitting down, they kneeled down towards the Embassy and prayed for Dafa Disciples.
