A 90-minute seminar on the persecution of Falun Gong in China was held during the 2002 Swedish Non-Governmental Organization Summit in Gothenburg. It was formally scheduled by the organizers of the summit and given by the Friends of Falun Gong in Sweden (FFGS).

The Chairman of Friends of Falun Gong in Sweden invited two Swedish practitioners to speak at the seminar. After hearing practitioners reveal the facts and seeing the films "Justice of Falun Gong" and the "Self-immolation", more people developed a better understanding of what Falun Gong is and about the evil nature of Jiang Zemin’s persecution. Some listeners were even moved to tears. They stayed and asked many questions after the seminar.
