Several days ago, a family moved to our appartment. Their in-house facilities needed to be renewed, but the landlord and the family could not communicate with each other. We also have the same last name, so we felt close to each other at the first meeting.
After a few days, she came to my home to thank me. I thought that she had just came from China recently, so I chatted with her. It was a good chance to spread the truth about Falun Gong. I asked her, “Did you hear anything about Falun Gong at your home in China?”
She said, “No!” Then, she went on, “When I got off the plane, a girl who looked delicate and pretty, gave me a small booklet. I spontaneously took it because I was busying dealing with my luggage. After I was collected, I looked at the booklet. When I knew it was about Falun Gong, I was so scared that I immediately threw it into the trash can nearby.”
I said, “Oh! It’s such a pity! I myself am a Falun Gong practitioner. What do you think of me?”
She said, “You are such a good person. I've really met a significant person in my life!”
I said, “People who cultivate Falun Gong are people who take efforts to be good people. They are good people who cultivate Truthfulness, Benevolence, and Forbearance. Our Teacher asked every one of us to cultivate our inner selves. We have to consider others first when doing anything. This can lead to the moral standard in the human society rising again. The news reported on the TV and in the newspapers in China are false. They frame Falun Gong. The self-immolation in Tiananmen Square was not done by Falun Gong. Falun Gong practitioners do not kill lives. I have the VCD of clarification of the truth about Falun Gong. Do you have time to watch it now?”
“Yes, I have time.” She said.
Thus, I watched the VCD of “The Truth of Falun Gong” for about one hour with her. After watching the VCD, my neighbour said emotionally, “Now I realize the truth. These are the true facts! Can I borrow it to take it home for my children?”
“Yes, of course!” I said.
Then, she told me that after her children continuously watched it two times on the computer, they realized the truth. I told her that “Zhuan Falun” is a precious book. It’s a good fortune to cultivate Falun Gong. One day, she came to my home suddenly. On entering the door, she solemnly told me, “My sister, I have just washed my hands clean to borrow your copy of “Zhuan Falun.” I seriously told her that she had to read through it everyday without interruption.
After about one week, she gave back the book. She said, “I think that reading this book is different from reading other common books. When reading this book, one has to read it one word by one word intensely. After reading this book, I know how to live in another country and how to behave in the future.”
Sincerely, I am really glad for her to have obtained the Fa [The Teachings of Falun Gong}. I also lent her some of Teacher Li’s scriptures, such as “Some Thoughts of Mine.” I said, “You are so lucky! You can realize the truth of Falun Gong abroad and obtain the Fa. The Falun Gong practitioners in China are sacrificing their lives to tell the world that ‘Falun Gong is good.’ However, many people in our country are still being cheated by the lies. They are not sympathetic to the Falun Gong practitioners. They are hostile to Falun Gong and full of prejudices. They even help the evil people to crazily persecute Falun Gong practitioners. So, if you have the chance, please tell your relatives and friends in China the truth about Falun Gong.”
After several days, my new neighbour excitedly told me that she had told her relatives and friends in China the truth of Falun Gong. She said, “I told her that people in more than 60 countries overseas practise Falun Gong. Many practitioners have high academic backgrounds and are experts of science and technology. My friends thus realized [the truth]." She said that if only workers and farmers practise it, how could Jiang have had been so frightened! We smiled to each other understandingly. I told her that Falun Gong was spread from person to person, and heart to heart. The truth of Falun Dafa was spread from one to ten, and ten to one hundred. All the scoundrel means of sealing off the truth were in vain.
This real story also tells me that clarifying truth to the Chinese should be done in depth and in detail.
