In the beginning of the Tang Dynasty, women wore short blouses with small tight sleeves. They wore close-fitting long skirts with silk belts just below the bust line or even up at the armpits that made them look very slim and graceful. There was one popular skirt named Pomegranate Skirt because of its bright red color. During the Tang dynasty, women's skirts had a lot of different styles embroidery designs or elegant paint, bright and beautiful colors, high quality materials. They reached their most brilliant level at that time.
