Sweden: International Human Rights Day in Gothenburg

10 Dec 2002 (Gothenburg, Sweden) - On this freezing cold December evening, Dafa practitioners from Gothenburg, Floda, Lerum, Varberg and Falkenberg gathered in the heart of Gothenburg city to tell people about the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China. They wanted everyone in the city to know that Jiang’s regime have killed hundreds of innocent Chinese practitioners just because they want to be good people. Chinese Government sources put this figure in the thousands. They also wanted to tell people how Jiang Zemin’s regime have tortured and beaten hundreds of thousands of innocent men, women, and even children and the elderly because they want to improve their health and become better people. They also wanted people to see thrugh Jiang’s attempts to export his persecution to the free and open society of Hong Kong through the introduction of Article 23. Each person stood in the cold evening after a full day’s work or study because they want to give people the opportunity to see through the web of lies that Jiang’s regime have spread over the whole world in an attempt to defame Falun Dafa and realise the truly beneficial nature of this peaceful practice.
