Maintain Righteous Thoughts, Take Every Opportunity

After the campaign, “Against Hong Kong’s article 23” and the “Rescue our Friends and Relatives in China” campaign in Dresden, Germany, practitioners exchanged their experiences and understandings from the perspective of the principles of Falun Dafa. Although it was not far from the date on which Hong Kong was to make its final decision [December 24], everyone realised that this time was for Dafa, and being practitioners in this special historic period, we must make good use of it. Below are some of my experiences of clarifying the truth about Article 23.

I suddenly realised that that we could clarify the truth about Article 23 at the broadcasting station. I discovered that the editors of the station were halfway through a meeting concerning the programs. I immediately made a phone call, and a another practitioner managed to get through. We sent forth righteous thoughts [thinking upright thoughts to purify oneself and the surrounding area, to eliminate any bad, impure or unrighteous elements] and a few minutes later, the practitioner said that he had been invited to appear as a special guest in the next program which was directly dealing with Article 23.

On another day, I found that I had two events which clashed; one was the graduation of a friend with a Master’s Degree, and the other was my job at the recreation club in the university. My classmates and professors understand the truth about Falun Gong, so I chose to work at the recreation club instead; this way I could clarify the truth about the persecution of Falun Gong to people whom I had not met before. I posted materials to expose the facts of Article 23 on every table and the notice boards so that every person who came to drink coffee saw the truth. Looking at those people reading and coming to realise the truth, I was filled with compassion. “Cultivation depends on oneself, while transformation of Gong [Cultivation energy] is done by one’s master” [Quote taken from Zhuan Falun, the main text of Falun Gong]. What we can have is only this wish, the rest is taken care of.

Fellow practitioners, I have written these experiences down to illustrate that whatever happens, it is all for Fa-rectification. They are well-arranged opportunities to let people know the fact about the persecution of Dafa. Do not be attached to any method or result, don’t wait or rely on anything. As long as our hearts are right, all will be arranged.
