The lawsuit encapsulates the systematic persecution of all persons who embrace the spiritual tenets of Falun Gong in China. -
Canada Concerned About the Persecution - House of Commons Discusses Granting Falun Gong Practitioners Special Visas
2003-03-14The persecution of Falun Gong by Jiang's Regime in China has been a concern of the Canadian Government ever since the persecution began. The Canadian government was the first to condemn the crackdown of Falun Gong in 1999 and has helped rescue several Falun Gong practitioners, returning them safely to Canada, including Mr. Kunlun Zhang and Mr. Shenli Lin. On February 28, 2003, Parliament held another discussion about a slightly revised version of the Resolution. The members who initiated the Resolution suggested granting special visas to Falun Gong practitioners persecuted in China. -

Texas Dafa Practitioners Two-day Car Tour to Rescue American Dr. Charles Li

In order to rescue Dr. Charles Li, Texas Falun Gong practitioners started a two-day car tour. About a month ago Charles returned to China to visit his parents. As soon as he got off the plane he was abducted by Chinese police and sent to his hometown of Yangzhou, merely because he is a Falun Gong practitioner.
