Falun Gong in Norway: Norwegian Association for Falun Gong
2001-09-27The purpose for the Norwegian Association is partly, through cultivation practice, to develop our body, mind and soul, to support our good health, to cultivate our heart and to reach higher levels. It is also to support peace and good forces in everyday life and on a larger scale, by bridging gaps between people, cultures and countries. In addition, we will inform people about the situation of Falun Gong and its practitioners in other countries and cultures. -

2001-09-27Saturday September 15 an annual event called “Culture night” took place in the town of Vasteras, Sweden. It is a popular festivity when a lot of people take part in cultural activities. We went home that night with a happy heart. Many people are searching and in a time when there is chaos in the world, they are attracted to the peace, serenity and righteousness in Falun Gong. -

2001-09-22On September 9, the practitioners arrived at the Grand Place of Lille, the capital of Nord Province, where they received a warm welcome from more than 60 practitioners from Paris. It was also the Liberation Day of Lille and the city held a big ceremony. Many citizens got an opportunity to learn about Falun Dafa. Over 5000 flyers were distributed. Paris practitioners hired a tour bus in order to join the ceremony, and a double-rainbow accompanied them all the way there. -
Two British Practitioners Complete the 415-kilometre walk (258 miles) SOS Walk from London to Brussels
2001-09-20On the morning of September 13, two British members of the European Parliament received us in person outside the parliament building. Both parliament members clearly expressed their support for us, and hoped they could help us further in depth. Another Belgian parliament member arranged a room in the Parliament for us to have a press conference. She clearly stated that she helped to host the meeting because she supports Mr. Li Hongzhi, a candidate for the 2001 Sakharov Prize and the efforts to rescue the Falun Gong practitioners who are persecuted in China. -
