  • Germany: Eckernförde Information Event Exposes the Persecution of Falun Gong

    On August 9, practitioners introduced Eckernfoerde citizens to Falun Dafa, a qigong practice of the Buddha school. They also informed people about the inhuman persecution against practitioners perpetrated by the Chinese Communist regime. Many passersby were drawn to the practitioners' exercise demonstration.

    Ondrej started practising Falun Gong (Falun Dafa) in 2006. "Falun Dafa has completely changed my perspective on life. I try to be a better person in family, at work, as well as in society. The principles of truthfulness, compassion and forbearance help me wherever I am and give me spiritual guidance throughout my life."
  • Denmark: Raising Awareness at the Aarhus Festival

    The Aarhus Festival is a week-long cultural event. At the event, Falun Dafa practitioners introduced the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and displayed the eastern tradition of cultivating the mind and body. Many visitors asked why the Chinese regime persecutes a group of peaceful people.
  • Sweden: Introducing Falun Dafa at “Culture Night” in Uppsala

    On September 8, practitioners participated in the Culture Night festival in Uppsala. Many people stopped to watch the exercise demonstration and were moved when they learned about the persecution. People signed the petition to support Falun Gong and some learned the exercises.
  • Germany: People Support Falun Gong Practitioners' Efforts to End the Persecution

    Falun Gong practitioners in several German cities held Information Day activities over the weekends in early September 2012. Their purpose was to raise public awareness about the brutality of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in its more than 13-year persecution of Falun Gong. People who learned the truth expressed their support for the practitioners' efforts to end the persecution.
  • United Kingdom: Introducing Falun Gong at Kingston Carnival

    The annual Kingston Carnival was held on September 2. The theme of this year's carnival was “Bringing the World to Kingston.” Falun Gong practitioners in the U.K. participated for the 4th time in this popular summer festival celebration, and once again brought information about Falun Gong to the carnival-goers.
  • Poland: People in Warsaw Support Falun Gong at Multicultural Festival

    On August 26, the annual Multicultural Festival in Warsaw once again opened with the Flower Street Parade. Falun Gong practitioners have been invited to participate in the event for six consecutive years. A beautiful float, peaceful music and Falun Gong practitioners’ slow and curved exercise movements attracted the attention of many Polish people.
  • Germany: Citizens and Tourists in Freiburg Concerned about Chinese Communist Party’s Live Organ Harvesting

    On September 8, Falun Gong practitioners from Freiburg held an Information Day activity. Although such “Information Days” have been held several times, a large number of tourists heard about the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China for the first time. Many people were very surprised and indignant to hear about the human rights abuses.
  • Austria: Exposing the Chinese Communist Party’s Persecution in Wiener Neustad

    On the two weekends at the end of August and the beginning of September, melodious exercise music was heard on the square in downtown Wiener Neustadt. The event was Falun Gong Information Day, where practitioners introduced Falun Gong to the public and exposed the Chinese Communist Party's thirteen-year persecution.
  • Denmark: Practitioners Introduce Falun Gong at Multicultural Festival

    A multicultural festival in Copenhagen attracted over 5 million people on September 1-2. Danish practitioners participated in the event to introduce Falun Gong to the public. Practitioners carried banners with words "Falun Dafa is good!" and "Truth-Compassion-Forbearance” in Danish. They also handed out information flyers to the spectators.
  • Russia: Promoting Falun Gong in the Summer

    During the pleasant Russian summer, Falun Gong practitioners participated in and organized a number of community activities to introduce Falun Gong, a practice based on the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, and to raise people's awareness about the persecution that has been going on for 13 years in China.
  • Albania: Introducing Falun Gong in Tirana

    From September 19 to 21, Falun Gong practitioners went to Tirana, the capital of Albania, and held events to introduce Falun Dafa to local people and help Tirana's overseas Chinese quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations. Local residents said that this was the first time they’d ever heard of Falun Dafa.
  • United Kingdom: Chinese Thugs Attack Quit-the-CCP Booth in London Chinatown Drawing More Attention and Support for Falun Gong

    On September 29, many people went to Chinatown to do their shopping for the the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival. The volunteers of the Service Centre for Quitting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) held a press conference. Several Chinese men violently attacked the tent set up by the Service Centre and then ran away. The police came and began an investigation.
  • Germany: When a Wedding Party Runs Into a Protest against the Persecution

    Falun Gong practitioners held activities in front of the Spital Church in Bayreuth to protest the Chinese Communist Party's persecution of Falun Gong on September 1. It was the seventh weekend that they held activities here. Many passersby expressed their disbelief and anger toward such brutality and left their signatures on the petition to stop the persecution.
  • United Kingdom: Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance Art Exhibition Inspires Young People in London

    On August 18, the two-week-long Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance Art Exhibition came to a close at La Galleria Pall Mall in central London. 3,000 people from various countries saw the exhibition. The moral power, courage and justice that transcends culture and age depicted in the paintings inspired a lot of the young people who came to see the artworks.
