Diligent Fa Study Was Fundamental to Passing Test and Getting Job

Greetings, Master! Greetings, fellow practitioners!

I am what one could call a relatively new Falun Dafa practitioner, as I began to practice in July 2012.

I returned home in September 2012 to look for a job in my hometown. Because I'm a relatively new practitioner, I diligently study the Fa daily and therefore didn’t have time to study for the written test that all those looking for a job have to take. I spent only a little time reading several pages in a book that helped prepare for the test. My parents were worried and constantly urged me to study hard for the test.

Diligent Fa Study Grants Success

Teacher said,

“As a practitioner should follow the course of nature. If something is yours, you will not lose it. If something is not yours, you will not have it even if you fight for it.” (Zhuan Falun)

From studying the Fa principles, I understood that the Fa is the fundamental law of the universe. All wisdom and human knowledge comes from Dafa. As long as I walk the path arranged by Teacher, let go of attachments, including worrying and nervousness, and study the Fa diligently, I will be successful.

Although my memory is not that great, I could remember everything I read in the test preparation book clearly after I read through it only once.

Rejecting the CCP Culture
I knew the written test would include topics about the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) culture, because the CCP takes every opportunity to indoctrinate us.

Before the written test, I sent forth the thought that I would not accept any of the CCP's ways of thinking. When I took the test, I saw that it included criticism of religious beliefs and misunderstandings on human rights. Master Li Hongzhi, the founder of Falun Dafa, said,

“And that's especially true when it comes to those crooked principles that the evil in China propagates. For example, they spread, ‘if you want others to do well, you have to do well yourself first.’ Think about it everybody, is that saying right? Many people hold on to that saying and use it to hide their own mistakes that they don't want to correct. And that's especially so for those who have problems--they take it as the truth and won't let go. I can tell you, though, that this is absolutely wrong. Can't a person who isn't perfect tell you to do well? Can't a person who's made mistakes tell others to do well? What kind of logic is that? How many people have thought this over carefully?” (“Teaching the Fa at the 2003 Atlanta Fa Conference”)

Master's words taught me that the Chinese people’s ways of thinking have been distorted by the evil CCP culture. The way they now think is the biggest obstacle that prevents ordinary Chinese people from listening to and accepting the truth about Falun Dafa. Therefore, I sent forth a thought: “Whoever reviews my paper, open your thoughts!” In the end I passed the test and ranked first.

Doing What I Should Do Before the Test
The test date was to be given in December. I spent most of the time before then doing the three things. I produced materials telling the facts about Falun Dafa, mailed letters with Falun Dafa information, and distributed the materials. The night prior to the test, I made materials until 5 a.m.

Because my heart was on the Fa and I walked a righteous path, I felt I was in the state of a divine being and wasn't tired at all. I slept for about an hour and a half.

On my way to take the test, I delivered the materials to fellow practitioners.

Alerted to Questions on the Test
The test was scheduled for the afternoon. A friend had told me in the morning that there would be a question about the CCP’s 18 th Convention on it. I never accepted the evil CCP’s propaganda, so I knew nothing about its 18 th Convention. However, I was clear about the nature of the CCP. Teacher had told us that no matter what the CCP did, it was just trying to convince us that it was “great, glorious and correct.” I thought that, if that question came up, I would tell them why morality was declining so drastically, open their thoughts, and spell out the CCP’s evil nature for them clearly.

Before the test started, many of the candidates and their parents were waiting outside the room. I heard some of the parents whispering about possible questions. I said that there might be questions about the CCP’s 18 th Convention. People approached me, and I told them that the CCP attached importance only to the material world and couldn't care less about the improvement of morality.

I'm clueless when it comes to politics, but at that moment I had a very clear understanding of the CCP's evil nature.

One candidate's mother asked me, “Are you a CCP member?” I knew that Teacher made her ask me that. I told them, “I am not a CCP member. If I were, I would have quit already.” As soon as I finished saying that, it was time to take the test.

After the test I took a taxi that let me off at a gate I was not familiar with. It just so happened there was a mailbox nearby, and I could mail the letters with information about Falun Dafa. As long as we put our hearts in the Fa, Teacher will arrange everything well for us, wherever we go, whatever we do.

Before the test results were released, many candidates tried all kinds of ways to influence their test results, including bribery and using their personal connections. My parents worried about me and suggested I do the same. I told them, “I don't have to worry. I will get the job Master arranges for me.” Instead, I studied the Fa every day, did the three things and didn't worry about the results of the test.

The test scores were released in three days, and I was ranked first. Needless to say, I found a job.

Teacher said,

“As a practitioner, your path of life will be changed from now on. My fashen will rearrange it for you.” ( “Zhuan Falun”)

Before ending I want to share my understanding of the Fa. From the moment we started practicing Falun Dafa, our path of life has been changed. We should live by the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance at all times. Only by living this way can we walk our cultivation path well.

Master has arranged everything well for us. Now it is up to us to keep righteous thoughts, remove attachments, look inside, and believe in Teacher and the Fa.
