“The Chinese Communist Party is carrying out savage deeds. Our son is an executed prisoner, and all of his internal organs were removed. Yet we were asked to pay an exorbitant price for his body,” said the family of the executed prisoner.
The man's family told how their executed family member had his organs harvested in 2001, at the Wafangdian Detention Centre in Liaoning Province.
Although neither the deceased nor his family had given permission for the organ removal, all of the organs were harvested, and presumably sold. To make matters worse, the perpetrators of this crime demanded an outrageous fee from the bereaved family for his remains.
Death Row Inmate Trusts a Falun Gong Practitioner
A death row prisoner from a town near Wafangdian City, whose name remains undisclosed for security reasons, entrusted a Falun Gong practitioner with the only money he had.
Before being executed, he decided to leave 100 yuan1, the only money he possessed, to his young nephew, whom he missed the most. He worried about how the money could be safely delivered into the hands of his nephew.
He finally decided he would trust the money with a detained Falun Gong practitioner.
The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) persecution of Falun Gong reached its peak between 2000 and 2001. More than 100 practitioners were being held in that detention centre at the time. After becoming acquainted with the practitioners, the death row inmate realized that they were kind and sincere, and practiced forbearance. He said, “Nowadays, the most trusted people in the world are you practitioners.”
He entrusted the 100 yuan to a practitioner who was from his hometown, but whom he had met only once.
The practitioner agreed and kept his word. After his release, he found the man's father and asked him to give the money to the young nephew.
Family Too Poor to Pay for Deceased's Body
Given that he knew the deceased, the practitioner asked to visit the grave. The deceased's father broke into tears and said, “There is no grave.”
The father explained that when they went to pick up his son's remains, they saw that all his organs had been removed, and presumably sold. Even so, the family was told they would have to pay for the body.
The father said, “The price was very high, and we couldn't pay it.”
The family was poor and unable to borrow enough money to bury the body. With tears covering his face, the father said, “After all, he was my son. If we could have afforded it, we would have given him a decent burial. The CCP is doing horrible deeds. My son's organs were removed to benefit the Party. Yet, they still demanded an exorbitant price for his dead body.”
Practitioner Aware of Organ Harvesting
The practitioner was not particularly surprised, because he had witnessed the removal of organs from an executed prisoner.
The practitioner was hospitalized in a large hospital in Jinzhou City in 1993. Organ harvesting from executed prisoners was not a secret. He had noticed that many patients in the dermatology department were waiting for skin grafts. The doctors were telling the patients not to worry, since there would be an execution in a few days, which would provide enough skin for everyone.
That day, the hospital ambulance brought the corpse to the hospital immediately following the execution. The executed prisoner was a young man in new, winter, military clothes, even though it was summer.
The hands of the corpse were handcuffed behind his back. The bullet had gone into the back of his head and exited from his lower jaw, which protected the facial skin, eyes, and nose, the parts which were most valuable.
The deceased was first washed in a sink used by the hospital patients. It was then carried to a warehouse instead of an operating room. The windows in the warehouse had been painted over with green paint, but some of it had chipped off, allowing bold patients to watch what was going on.
Doctors from various departments participated in the organ harvesting. The dermatologists removed the skin, while others removes the organs, bones, and whatever could be used for transplants.
China's populace knows that the CCP takes the law into its own hands when it comes to civilians. The CCP has finally admitted to harvesting organs from executed prisoners, but it is doing something much more horrendous in secret... harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners.
