Mrs. Fu Yingxia is a Dafa practitioner in Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province. On August 13th, the "610 Office" once again illegally kidnapped her. While being detained, in order to protest, she went on a hunger strike, which has now lasted more than a month and is still going on. The vicious detention centre guards brutally force-fed her. According to people who know the details, even the guards could no longer force-feed her due to her extremely poor physical health. Recently, Mrs. Fu was sent to an emergency room in Zhaoyuan People's Hospital. She has become extremely thin from the torture, and is now in a life-threatening condition. The police still refuse to release her, and instead, several of them stay at the hospital to keep an eye on her everyday inspite of the fact that she is very sick.

Fu Yinxia is open-minded and warm-hearted. The people who live around her all agree she is a good wife and mother. Nonetheless, she has been persecuted again and again.

In September 2002 the Biguo Town police took away Wang Yanqing, Mrs. Fu's husband, for distributing Dafa truth-clarification materials. The police used all sorts of means to brutally torture Wang. Later, he was transferred to the "610 Office" in Zhaoyuan City, where he was continually persecuted. The police then illegally sent Wang, who was extremely weak, to a detention centre and then illegally sentenced him to a 7-year term.

On January 26, 2002, police from the Daqinjia Police Station and personnel of the local "610 Office" went to kidnap Fu Yinxia for her clarifying the truth to people. As a result, she was forced to stay away from her home, leaving her 6-year-old son and mother-in-law who is in her 70's to fend for themselves. The vicious police did not stop there as they visited Mrs. Fu's and her parents' home many times to search and threaten them. They even took her father, who was ill, to the brainwashing centre, forcing him to tell of Mrs. Fu's whereabouts. The family was thus unable to have a peaceful life, and had to live in terror for a long time.

In May 2003 she was arrested and brought to the "610 Office" in Zhaoyuan City. Police officers Luan Deqing and Wang Xuetang used all means to brutally torture Mrs. Fu, which included punching her with their fists, slapping her face and kicking her very hard all over her body using leather boots. After becoming tired from beating her, they used electric batons and a telephone electric generator to electrically shock her. Mrs. Fu was also tortured on a "tiger bench" [a brutal torture device], handcuffed, had her feet chained and was subjected to burning cigarettes being inserted into her nose. The police also used a thick wooden stick to beat her feet and legs. During the whole torture process, she passed out several times. To protest the illegal persecution, she did not eat or drink anything. After going on a hunger strike for more than 20 days, she was sent to the Zhaoyuan People's Hospital to be treated, and one night, she miraculously escaped from the hospital and survived.

On that same day of her escape, "610 Office" personnel broke into several practitioners' homes looking for her. They also set up checkpoints on the roads connecting to outside of Zhaoyuan City. They checked every passenger vehicle passing by with Mrs. Fu's photo. This made people very nervous. After hearing what happened, people were very angry. They thought it was absurd for the police to ignore so many crimes and focus on innocent Falun Gong practitioners, making so many efforts to arrest Mrs. Fu.

On August 13, Fu Yinxia was arrested again on the way to a relative's home. She was then taken to the Zhaoyuan Detention Center, and treated as a criminal. After being handcuffed and having her feet chained, she was abused both physically and mentally. In order to protest the kidnapping and deprival of her human rights and freedom, she once again went on a hunger strike, which she began over a month ago. The police already force-fed her. According to people who know the details, due her extremely poor health, the force-feeding could not continue. She was recently sent to an emergency room in the Zhaoyuan People's Hospital for treatment. She is now extremely thin and in a life-threatening situation. Her condition is tragic beyond description. Several policemen stay there every day to monitor her, and nobody is allowed to visit her except for doctors. The police still refuse to release Fu Yinxia and continue to illegally detain and torture her.

As we are faced with such an urgent matter, please use your conscience and kindness and pay heed to this horrible situation Fu Yinxia is experiencing. Let us join together and stop this vicious persecution.
