During each weekend, Falun Dafa practitioners from Southern Australia would go to downtown Adelaide or Chinatown to introduce Dafa and explain the facts about the ongoing persecution in China to tourists.
On November 8, 2003, the Christmas parade was held in the City of Adelaide. As usual, practitioners distributed truth-clarifying materials to people. In addition, practitioners made many beautiful season's greeting cards and helped westerners to write their names in Chinese. One after another, tourists stopped and asked for the cards. After hearing that Falun Gong is brutally persecuted in China, many people signed their names on a petition letter, calling for an end to the persecution. Some were attracted by practitioners' slow and smooth exercise movements and immediately followed practitioners to learn the exercises.
