On Saturday May 29th, 2004, the annual Hammarkullen Cultural Festival was held in Goteborg city. Participants from over twenty countries performed their national songs and dances, as well as acrobatics and works of art. In addition, food and goods were also sold at a temporary market. The festival attracted over twenty thousand people. To let more people from different countries know the truth, some practitioners from Goteborg and nearby cities came to Hammarkullen to join the activities.
Many people were impressed by the peaceful atmosphere that surrounded the practitioners. Some of them signed the petition on their own initiative to give support and some discussed the evil essence of the persecution against Falun Gong from their own points of view. A lot of teenagers also came to learn the five set of exercises one group after another.
