From what we know, five steadfast Falun Dafa practitioners were persecuted to death at Heizuizi Women's Prison. They were Yu Lixin (36 years old) and Deng Shiying (40 years old) from Jilin City, Wang Xiuyun (about 50 years old) from Huadian City, Jiang Shuxian from Dehui City, and Han Cuiyuan from Siping City. There are presently at least 200 Falun Dafa practitioners illegally detained in the prison.
Deputy Prison Director Wu Zeyun and other guards have used all sorts of cruel tortures in an attempt to force practitioners to give up their belief in Falun Dafa. Their brutal methods have included brainwashing, all kinds of physical punishment, forbidding practitioners to sleep, beatings, the "Dead Person's Bed" (1), violent force-feeding, electro-shock torture with electrified batons, "locking up in small cells" (2), illegally extending prison terms, forbidding family visits, and ordering criminal inmates to torture practitioners.
Despite all this, more than 100 steadfast Falun Dafa practitioners continued to practise Falun Dafa and protested against the torture. They refused to do forced labour and refused to wear identification badges. Falun Dafa practitioner Liu Mingwei was tied to a "Dead Person's Bed" for more than 2 years and in the end she was able to walk out of the prison.
The guards secretly order inmates to beat steadfast Falun Dafa practitioners. Jin Shunhua, a 34-year-old criminal inmate from Yanji City, was sentenced to six years in prison for misuse of public funds. She became popular for cruelly torturing Dafa practitioners, good people who follow principles of "Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance." Jin Shunhua was actively involved in beating practitioners Deng Shiying, Wang Xiuyun and a 60-year-old elderly practitioner. Falun Dafa practitioner Deng Shiying suffered broken bones after a beating by Jin Shunhua and many other inmates.
When practitioners revealed to the police that Jin Shunhua was beating them, the police said they would punish her. However, Jin Shunhua's prison term was not extended nor was she punished. Rather, her term was reduced by one year as a reward. Whenever a practitioner tried to use various means to protest against the torture and abuse, the police would torture people in the entire cell with physical punishments such as forcing them to stand facing the wall or forbidding them to sleep. This caused the criminal inmates to hate practitioners.
Once, Ji Guifang, a criminal inmate from Yanji City, furiously beat practitioner Liu Zhe. Not long after, Ji's lower limbs became disabled. Practitioners told her that this was retribution for beating a Falun Dafa practitioner. She started to understand and began to treat practitioners kindly. Soon after, she was transferred out of the prison for medical attention.
The prison forced newly-arrived practitioners into brainwashing sessions to watch videos defaming Falun Dafa. A few inmates would be in charge of each practitioner, taking turns to prevent them from sleeping for a number of days and nights. Practitioners who protested against this abuse were brutally force-fed with a tube, placed on the "Dead Person's Bed," and jailed in a small cell.
The two most vicious police officers from the "re-education" team at the prison are Cao Hong, around 30 years old, and Jia Guang, around 20 years old. They head the prison's "re-education" team.
Here we sincerely advise the police from Heizuizi Women Prison to stop acting as weapons for the Jiang regime. It is not too late to turn around and stop your crimes.
Notes
(1) "Dead Person's Bed" -- A torture method; the four limbs of the practitioner are stretched out and tied to the four corners of an icy-cold metal bed. The practitioner cannot move at all. Neither is he allowed to get up to eat, drink, or go to the toilet. This treatment would last from several hours up to more than a dozen days. This type of cruel torture causes severe damage to the practitioner both mentally and physically.
(2) "Locking up in small cells" -- The detainee is locked up in a very small cell individually. The guards handcuff practitioners on their back in a fixed position, in which the practitioners can neither move nor lie down. The small cell is very damp and no sunshine comes in. Detainees have to urinate and defecate in the cell. Only half of a regular meal is served to detainees locked up in a small cell during the daytime. During the night the rats are running around. The stench in the small cell is so bad that it is difficult to breathe.
